Colour IQ works alongside non-profit group Attitudes & Attire™ to help women dress their best for professional interviews and jobs.
Founded in 1996 by Lyn Berman, Attitudes & Attire™ specifically promotes personal growth for women seeking self-sufficiency. It offers three workshops designed to encourage self-esteem, promote ethics, and helps build the confidence needed to develop successful life skills.
After successfully completing the first workshop a volunteer image consultant helps women shop for one full business outfit with coordinating accessories. After the second workshop women are provided with shoes and a toiletries bag. At the third workshop women share their success stories from the program as well as shop for business casual clothing. It is our belief that women dressed their best feel more confident and are better prepared for workplace success.
Finally, women who suffer from impaired teeth due to domestic violence or drug abuse can interview for the Attitude & Attire™ dental program Hopeful Smiles™.
How can you help?
- Attitude & Attire™ is always accepting women’s attire donations. Any spare clothing you may have can be dropped off at your local Bibbentuckers Cleaner location.
- They are currently in need of women’s hand bag donations.
